How would you describe the Master by Research day?

The Master by Research day essentially is a meeting in a nice and constructive atmosphere. Students from all kinds of programmes present their research topics and see what other students and supervisors want to say about their research approach.

What was the best part of participating at the Master by Research Day?

The best part about the Master by Research day is that you will get feedback from so many different perspectives that you would never think about.

Why did you choose to study Master by Research in Media and Communication Science?

I chose Mid Sweden's Master by Research in Media and Communication Science because it allowed me to learn more about communication and gave me the chance to customise that experience as much as possible.

Why did you choose to study at Mid Sweden University? 

I chose Mid Sweden University because of the Master by Research programme. No other programme I found gave me as much of a chance to do exactly what I want to do.

What is your project about? 

My current research project is in the field of political communication and journalism. In that, I try to examine the differing degrees of mediatisation between private commercial and public service TV news during political campaign season.

What is the best thing about the programme and Mid Sweden University?

I think the best thing about my programme is exactly the reason why I chose to study at Mid Sweden University in the first place. I love that I can learn more about specific topics and customise the experience as much as possible to my own preferences, while still staying true to the programme.
